Over the course of fifteen years from 2003 to 2018, prior to my coaching business, I have blogged over 2250 articles each of more than 1000 Chinese characters and averages over 200 views per article each day. If you were to do the math, that’s 150 articles per year, 30,000 views on each blog post I share.

As I began my journey and declaring my expertise as “Negative Self-Talker”, I began to realize that having a defined niche is absolutely essential in building your brand in this world that is saturated by coaches. I realized that every other person I run into, whether it is in-person or online, are coaches of some sort - health coach, wellness coach, relationship coach, career coach, business coach, coach for coaches, etc. The list just goes on and on and the possibility for me to establish my presence in a world that is saturated by coaches was impossible to reach.
5 Things I’ve Learned in the Last 3 Years of Running My Business
Following this realization about my life, I found myself on a new path of self-discovery -learning to navigate in starting my own business in Life Coaching. I believe being inspirational is important, but inspiration can be very short-lived. Inspiration needs to end with the strategy for taking action. Without action, inspiration is just empty air that we inhale in, it blends with us and exhales on the next cycle of breath. Inspiration does not lead to reality, strategic actions lead to results.

As coaches, we forget when we are working on our client’s limiting beliefs, and helping them uncover what’s been stopping them from showing up, the very same limiting beliefs had been placed upon us as they set us out into the world and start our own practice. There is no right or wrong way of branding yourself as long as it is through your authentic voice that you can connect yourself to and that others can hear and see you.
