#76: Get To Know Your Saboteurs With Marilyn Rose

Ever wake up in the morning and don’t recognize yourself anymore?

All the things you used to do suddenly don’t make sense to you. It’s like having an emotional meltdown that made you realize that something’s gotta change.

Marilyn Ross is a Transitional Life, Leadership, and Registered ICF Mentor Coach for leaders worldwide who are committed to bringing their values and visions to the forefront of their lives and work.

Marilyn's specialties lie in human potential, emotional management, leadership, and mastery by supporting her clients uncover and shifting any blind spots standing in the way of their most authentic selves and potential. So if you are looking at getting a hold of yourself and silencing the voice in your head telling you that you are not good enough, Marilyn is your best shot.

Marilyn loves the beach, coffee, and people. She has a positive attitude to life, which everyone should want to emulate; she says, "I was always so excited for tomorrow no matter what I was going through."

Letting our saboteurs get in our way can leave us scared and paranoid. Marilyn had her fair share of fear. "There was so much behind my fear, fear of not being able to provide for them, fear of arrest, things like that took away what would have been exciting and drained me from not being able to celebrate, and that's when I knew that something had to change because I didn't realize those things that held me back,” she says.

Marilyn's journey to becoming a fantastic mentor explains how important it is to break out from unfulfilling comforts, go through the rigors of training and learning, and excel. She was in her fifties when her journey started, so we are reminded that it's never too late to get up and pursue our passion and interest.
