Is your burnout making you lose out on all the beautiful things in life?

Burnout looks different for everyone, although it can affect you physically, mentally, and emotionally. To a greater extent, your productivity level is also affected.

 

With over 20 years of experience as a healthcare professional, I know a few things about burnout.

If you're feeling exhausted and sluggish, and even simple tasks feel overwhelming to complete, or you find yourself so stressed out that you're quick to get angry or frustrated, you might be experiencing burnout.

As my guest this week, Maria Massa, said, "stress is normal, we are going to experience stress, and stressful situations are going to happen," but what do you do when stressed?

Sometimes, we self-impose these things on ourselves, creating a crazy to-do list and being hell-bent on achieving everything.

You may not realize you've hit burnout until it's too late when you've crossed the line between "really tired" and "too exhausted to function."

Maria Massa is a fulfillment coach who helps women who are stressed out overcome Imposter syndrome, achieve better work-life balance, and have more fun in their day-to-day life.
