#79: 5 Ways to Cure Your Imposter Syndrome With Shayna Bergman

Imposter Syndrome, is it real? or just a buzzword?

We all have it and have been told we have it. But is Imposter Syndrome a real thing, or is it just a buzzword that makes us believe this is what stops us from thriving?

Yes, Impostor Syndrome is real.

It's that vague feeling you get, the sense of receiving accolades you think you don't deserve, and shying away from compliments. In Shayna's words, "it is very human to think we don't belong in certain places," but what's not human and unreasonable is deciding to keep up with that mindset and not desire a change.

It takes a lot of courage to speak up in your boardroom, demand the right to have a voice at the table, and believe in equal rights and treatment in this world. Still, it's essential to know that being visible means becoming a valuable part of this society unapologetically with opinions, beliefs, and actions in being who you are.

Shayna is a passionate, results-oriented coach who empowers motivated individuals to unlock their potential.

She has a proven track record of helping people to achieve more profound meaning and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives through authentic leadership and clarity of purpose. With a focus on parents in executive and leadership positions, Shayna challenges her clients to look deeply at themselves by reflecting on their values, dreams, limiting beliefs, and inner critics.

She then helps them create an action plan that inspires breakthroughs and leads to sustainable change.

Known for her perceptiveness, insights, and ability to speak the truth to leaders at all levels, Shayna's most successful clients are dedicated to evolving their best selves and fostering that growth in others.

Shayna's passion for helping people get past feeling inadequate and wanting unhealthy control over everything led her to work in HR. She is a connector and needed an opportunity to work with people better. Sitting in a room filled with leaders, she realized how easy it is for people to quickly recline into their shells and stay there for the more significant part of their careers or lives. She says, "you are in a room for a reason. You've got to speak up because that's what's going to help you step into your power".
