Here are the Top 10 Books From My Personal Bookshelf
1) You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero: If a few cuss words won’t scare you off, this is a great book on mindset, the power of our thoughts, and how to make things happen in your life by getting it out there and then getting to work!
2) Unlimited by Jillian Michaels: If you like the tough love, no BS, Jillian from the game show, this book is right up your alley. She gets personal and lets you in, while also telling it like it is. This was one of the first books I ever took on.
3) The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz: I believe this is one of the all-time best-selling mindset books. I read it later in my personal growth journey and it was one I would have loved to pick up years earlier.
4) Stop Saying You’re Fine by Mel Robbins: Another “real talk” approach, helping you get to the root of what you really want AND why you want it so that you “parent yourself” as she says. As someone who can always use more discipline, but hates guilt and obligation, it’s great.
5) Loving What Is by Byron Katie: Sometimes our self-talk is simply because we have expectations that are different from reality. A great lesson in acceptance, this book helped me find the truth in my negative thoughts and turn them around.
6) Get Out of Your Head: Stopping the Spiral of Toxic Thoughts: As she discovered in her own life, God built a way for us to escape that downward spiral. Freedom comes when we refuse to be victims to our thoughts and realize we have already been equipped with power from God to fight and win the war for our minds. Jennie inspires and equips us to transform our emotions, our outlook, and even our circumstances by taking control of our thoughts.
7) Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of Your Head and into Your Life: Are you tired of feeling f*cked up? If you are, Gary John Bishop has the answer. In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf*cked version of yourself. "Wake up to the miracle you are," he directs. Lead the life you were meant to have - Unf*ck Yourself.

8) What to Say When You Talk to Your Self: We talk to ourselves all of the time, usually without realizing it. And most of what we tell ourselves is negative, counterproductive, and damaging, preventing us from enjoying a fulfilled and successful life. But with Shad Helmsetter’s Five Levels of Self-Talk (Negative Acceptance, Recognition and Need to Change, Decision to Change, The Better You, and Universal Affirmation), you can take back control of your life via this accessible yet profound technique.
9) The Gifts of Imperfection: With original research and plenty of encouragement, Brene Brown explores the psychology of releasing our definitions of an “imperfect” life and embracing living authentically. Brown’s “ten guideposts” are benchmarks for authenticity that can help anyone establish a practice for a life of honest beauty—a perfectly imperfect life. Now more than ever, we all need to cultivate feelings of self-worth, as well as acceptance and love for ourselves.
10) Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience: Psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi's famous investigations of "optimal experience" have revealed that what makes an experience genuinely satisfying is a state of consciousness called flow. During flow, people typically experience deep enjoyment, creativity, and total involvement with life. Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience teaches how, by ordering the information that enters our consciousness, we can discover true happiness and greatly improve the quality of our lives.
