Episode #48 Be More Giraffe With Elliot Kay

What makes you UNIQUE?

This is one of my favorite questions to ask in business. Based on the most recent International Coach Federation (ICF) data, there are 71,000 professional coaches worldwide and 23,000 coaches based in North America, having a coaching business that is VISIBLE and THRIVING become the number one challenge as a business owner in this industry.

Being visible (i.e. marketing) sounds like it should be easy.

Post on social media and pop a blog post out every now and again and you’re sorted, right? Wrong. Without the right strategy and tools, this is one of the main reasons why so many startup coaches struggle to get clients and quickly feel burnout. Being visible for your business, especially as a coach, is key to growing a successful business.

Being visible doesn’t have to just include video or doing more LIVE– it can be anything that you do to put yourself in front of more people – and most importantly, the RIGHT people for your business.

There are a number of ways that I love to get in front of more people - Blogpost, Podcasts, Guest Speaking, Social Media posts, Live videos, etc. My favorite visibility strategy in Public Speaking!

Whether you are a new coach ready to launch your coaching business or an experienced coach who is looking to leverage Public Speaking as your business strategy to get more clients, craft your content, and speak in front of the RIGHT audience is crucial for your business and your growth.

In this episode, Expert, Speaker, and Mentor Elliot Kay from the UK is sharing his expertise as an International Public Speaker and the strategies you need to “BE MORE GIRAFFE”. He talks about the 4 strategies you need in creating content that makes an impact!

In this episode, you will learn:

  1. How to use public speaking to ENROLL and EMOTIONALLY educate your audience

  2. How to impact and empower with the most relevant and powerful part of your story

  3. The 4 key elements to structure your story

  4. How to overcome the fear to be on the Camera
