Is your life a coincident?

What do you believe we should have? Does life happen by coincidence? by synchronicity? or by chance? What do you think?

Last week I was going through my old photo album on all the places I have traveled. I have a heart for traveling. Every year I make a commitment to visit a new place. When I was too proud to use two crutches to walk, my mom became my walking assistant. Everywhere I went, she came with me so that she can hold my hands and take off the pressure I was putting on my legs and on my back.

One year, we went to visit New Zealand. I had to do a very low budget trip to visit New Zealand by finding ways to save money by staying at my friend's house for a few days and then we hop on to a tour bus in New Zealand, traveled from North New Zealand all the way to South New Zealand. It was fun to hop on and hop off while meeting travelers from all over the world.

I believe the best part about traveling is that you get to experience life in a different culture, and meeting friends you would have never been able to before.

Long story short, upon my return from New Zealand a few months later, Canterbury, New Zeland experienced a magnitude of 6.3 earthquakes that killed 185 people and thousands injured in a town called Christchurch. Many historical buildings were severely damaged.

Does life happen by coincidence? by synchronicity? or by chance?

I couldn't help but think that if I had just delayed my trip a few months, we might get stuck in New Zealand during this earthquake. If I had just come off school a bit later or earlier, perhaps I could have avoided the accident that changed my life trajectory. Is this coincidence, synchronicity, or chance?

I believe living in a state of flow is about getting into alignment with our circumstances and understanding that the Universe is to an extent responding to our choices. Getting into the flow allowed me to trust that whatever path I choose, my circumstances will arise to help me walk that path. Living in this state of flow is a compelling way to tame the fear of the unknown and tangle with the uncertainties we face every day.

Eckhart Tolle has this quote it goes
"Life is the Dancer and you are the Dance."

For many years I couldn't understand or grasp the concept of this quote and then it became clear to be in order to live in flow and feel the abundance that are available all around us, you have to begin by learning to let go of being the victim of your circumstances. The Universe goes into this mysterious synchronicity and everything happens simply because you trust whatever is ahead of you will lead you to where you need to be. You are the Dance and Life is the Dancer that swirls around you.

Circumstances don't happen to you.
Circumstances happen because of the choices we make.

With that said, here is an idea I would like to leave with you today, think about the choices you have to make right now. Think about the intention behind the choice you'd like to make today. Let that be a choice made of your higher consciousness so that when you do make that choice, this is the choice you have made without FEAR.
